Anthony Adaimy, a dental prosthetist, started Dental Spot in 2010 with a bench for his lab and what was left of a 1950s dental chair.
Today our dentists are Dr Amanda Zhong, Dr Rachel Brown, Dr James Pomfret and Dr Jose Shina. They work alongside Anthony and the lab, with a front desk team who look after bookings, reminders and health fund claims.

Anthony Adaimy and the lab team make full and partial dentures, and repair and reline them here, so a repair doesn’t wait for a courier.

Yes, from 8am to 1pm. During the week we’re open 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Friday. We’re closed on Sundays.

A registered dental practitioner who makes, fits and repairs dentures and makes sports mouthguards. A dental prosthetist isn’t a dentist. Anthony Adaimy, who started Dental Spot and runs our lab, is a dental prosthetist.
No, they are separate businesses. Dental Spot is the dental practice. The Spot Dental Lab does lab work for other dental practices, and Mobile Mouthguards makes sports mouthguards for clubs and players.
