Dr Joseph Alphonse
Dentist BSC (PHARM), BDENT
A passionate dentist, Dr Joseph graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Science in 2009 and completed a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2014.
Dr Joseph comes with much experience working in Westmead Dental Hospital, to working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
He has been trained in all fields of dental work, and additionally is qualified in Soft Tissue Laser, Anti-wrinkle and Dermal fillers approved by the ADA, is an Invisalign provider, and enjoys Orthodontic treatment.
Dr James Pomfret
Dentist BSC (HONS) DMD SYD
James graduated from dentistry at The University of Sydney, finishing in 2017.
While studying, James was an active member of the Sydney University Dental Association and acted as class representative for two and a half years. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a
particular interest in endodontics, and fixed prosthodontics.
He joined the Dental spot team in 2018.
Originally from Canada, James moved to Sydney in 2014 and has since fallen in love with this beautiful city and country.
James is a great believer in creating rapport with all his patients and establishing relationships that will last a lifetime.
Dr Eamon O’Farrell
Dentist BDS NUI, Dip PCD RCSI
Dr Eamon O’Farrell graduated from University College Cork, Ireland in 2017 with a Bachelor Degree in Dental surgery. He went on to work in private practice in Dublin while obtaining a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry from the RCSI in 2018.
Eamon has joined the Dental Spot team as of middle 2020 and has a special interest in Oral Surgery and Fixed Prosthodontics. He is fan of all sports and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
Dr Ray Dagher
General Dentist B Med Sci (Usyd), B Dent (hons)
Dr. Ray Dagher graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (honours) in 2014 and worked in Hospital in his first year.
Dr Dagher is a new addition to the Dentalspot team, he began his career working in private practice, as well as working as a clinical educator in Oral Surgery at the University of Sydney.
He will be a great addition to the team and has taken on the practice’s values of having a keen interest in general, preventative and cosmetic dentistry.
And if you’re looking for an oral surgeon for an extraction or wisdom tooth removal, he’s the expert! In his spare time, you will find Dr. Dagher discussing all things jeeps and off-roading.
Dr Mi Amanda Zhong
B. Pharm, DMD (USYD)
Amanda studied dentistry at the University of Sydney graduating in 2017. She has worked at the Westmead Dental Hospital and brings with her an array of experience. She has a passion for dentistry and has been known to be gentle and compassionate. She puts the needs of her patients first and therefore patients look forward to seeing her.
Amanda loves all aspects of dentistry, but has a specific interest in Restorative, Endodontic and Paediatric dentistry. She is also a registered Invisalign Go provider and enjoys incorporating Orthodontic treatment into her practice.
Prior to becoming a dentist Amanda was a practicing community pharmacist within Sydney. She therefore has a great understanding of the medical aspects of her patients. As a pharmacist she loved building relationships with her regular patients, and she continues to do this in her dental career.
Apart from dentistry, Amanda loves a good chat, travelling, cooking and more importantly eating.
Anthony Adaimy
Dental Prosthetist (Adv Dip DT Syd)
An inspired graduate with many visions, began the Dental Spot practice in 2011 using what was only left of a 1950’s dental chair and a bench to start off his laboratory. Building his lone practice from a young age, he had all intentions of providing only the best and finest crafted dental work in
Sydney.
Anthony is a qualified Dental Prosthetist & Registered Dental Technician who excels in a broad range of dental laboratory, and clinical work.
Some of his valued clients include NRL’s Canterbury Bulldogs, Wests Tigers, Melbourne Storm, Parramatta Eels and many more.
Stacey Sirol
Oral Health Therapist
Stacey is our Oral Health Therapist (OHT) who graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2016 with distinction. While studying, she was an active member of The Sydney University Dental Association, representing her Oral Health class for 2 years.
Stacey is highly passionate about oral health and particularly enjoys Orthodontic treatment. Previously undergoing orthodontic treatment herself, she believes that everyone should be able to have a smile that they’re proud of and loves being a part of the journey to a straight and confident smile!
In her spare time, Stacey has a passion for weight training, spending time with family and friends, and traveling! She is always up for a laugh and instantly loves those who laugh at her bad jokes.
Simone Brown
Practice Manager
Simone joined Dental Spot in May 2018 as our Practice Manager. She has been in the Dental industry since 1999 and enjoys every aspect of it, from Management to chairside.
She has knowledge and experience of all treatments and provides excellent communication should you require help to understand what treatment options you may have been given.
Belinda Lauro
Dental Assistant/Receptionist
Belinda is a welcomed addition to the Dental Spot team and brings with her 10 years of dental experience.
Her priorities are patient care and comfort always. With 2 children herself, she is an expert at making your child’s first visit to the dentist an enjoyable, memorable experience.
We are excited to have her on board and have no doubt that she will leave you with a lasting smile post visit.
Jackie Samperi
Receptionist
As of June 2020, Jackie has been a welcomed member to Dental Spot working as our front office/receptionist. With 6 years of medical experience, inclusive of dental administration experience, she loves getting to know our existing and new patients and assisting them on their dental journey.
She is always available for a friendly chat should you require one prior or post your dental treatment.
We are pleased to have included Jackie to our team and look forward to both Jackie and all our patients getting to know one another.
